I set up Singles Socials on Valentines day 2023; because of my own personal experience as a newly single person at the age of 55 years old. It was pretty damn hard. Most of my friends were in couples and I regularly found myself feeling like the odd one out at gatherings and events and let’s be honest, no one likes to play third wheel all the time! I hadn’t been single since the age of 16 and my how things had changed in the dating game.

There were now apps, and dating sites and no one really seemed to do dating the old fashioned face to face way anymore -  not until they had used up a unhealthy amount of time via messaging or phone calls. I just wanted to get out and meet new people!

I now work full time in the business, with my key roles still being the first person you see when you walk through that door, as I still remember what that feels like. I also do all the One 2 One Zoom interviews and write the draft profiles.
